Connect to a host

Click or tap + in Hosts and enter the server address, SSH port, username and password.
Save. On Mac, select the host and choose New Session or press Command-T; on iPhone/iPad, tap the host to connect.
Verify the server's host-key fingerprint before trusting a new key.

Connection troubleshooting

Check that the address and port are reachable, remote SSH access is enabled, and the username/password are valid. This version supports password authentication; key-only servers need a different supported authentication setup. Do not disable server security or trust a changed host key without checking it with the administrator.

Sessions and tmux

Close Session disconnects the local session and removes its tab. A remote tmux session remains available. Close Session Completely ends the remote tmux session and its running work after confirmation. Persistent work requires tmux on your server.

Files

Open Files to browse SFTP. On Mac, uploads and downloads use system file panels. On iPhone/iPad, use document pickers and sharing tools. Confirm that the remote account has permission to access the target directory.

Subscriptions

The app is free to download. Monthly and annual subscriptions are available on Mac, iPhone and iPad. Eligible new subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial. The app shows the actual local renewal price before purchase. You can purchase, restore, and manage subscriptions in the app. See subscription information. Apple manages subscription billing and cancellation; refund requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com.

When reporting an issue

Include the TermCove version, operating-system version and device model, the error text and the steps to reproduce. Redact private server addresses and content. Never send passwords or private keys.

连接失败排查

确认地址和端口可达、服务器已启用 SSH、用户名与密码有效。当前版本支持密码认证；仅允许密钥认证的服务器需要适配受支持的认证方式。不要随意关闭服务器安全措施，也不要未经核对就信任变更的主机密钥。

会话与 tmux

Close Session 断开本地连接并移除标签，远端 tmux 会话保留。Close Session Completely 经确认后结束远端 tmux 会话及其中的任务。断线后保留工作需要服务器安装 tmux。

文件

通过 Files 打开 SFTP 浏览器，Mac 上上传和下载使用系统文件选择框；iPhone/iPad 使用文档选择器及系统共享工具。确认远端账号拥有目标目录的访问权限。
